MRL Elevators

Machine-room-less elevators include machinery and equipment into the hoistway, doing away the need for a separate machine room. The reduced sheave size, together with a redesigned machine, allows the machine to be mounted within the hoistway itself – eliminating the need for a bulky machine room on the roof.

The machine room-less elevator is the result of technological advancements that often allow a signficant reduction in the size of the electric motors used with Traction equipment. These newly designed permanent magnet motors (pmm) allow the manufacturers to locate the machines in the hoistway overhead.

Machine Room Elevators

This type of elevators require machine room for traction machine, controller and ard, the advantage of machine room elevators is reduce the cost.

• Function only on 3 phase and the load capacity is from 4 passengers onwards. Speed is from 0.6mps onwards

Hydraulic Elevators

Hydraulic elevators work on a basic principle : to go up, a pump pushes oil into the cylinder through hose pipe from power pack(which contains hydraulic oil) to pushing the piston up.to go down the valve opens and oil is allowed to flow back into the power pack, and is pushed back using the gravitational force of the lift car.

• Installed in villas / bungalows
• Works on oil pressure and the load capacity is from 2 passengers to 6 passengers.
• Speed ranges from 0.2m/s to 0.3m/s.
• Minimum pit requirement is from 200mm onwards.
